When I moved to NYC, Ron and Carlos took care of my poodle Pierre (photo, left) for a whole month while I was waiting to move into my apt. It was hard to be separated from him but every time I came to visit he seemed so happy and content that I could tell they were taking good care of him...it gave me peace of mind. They are extremely professional, conscientious, knowledgeable, kind and loving people...top notch! I would never leave my dog with anyone else. I also like the fact that the dogs stay in their home and they are never left alone. I could tell that when I came to get my dog after a month he was a bit sad to leave them. Whenever I travel, my first concern is the TLC needed by my animals: a dog and two cats who love their lives at home. Fortunately for me I found Coco and Toto before my last vacation; I knew I had a winner from my first phone conversation with them; I was assured that an experienced sitter would stay with my animals in my home. Subsequently I met with Nicholas who was to be the sitter and Ron, the co-owner at my apartment. From our conversation I knew that a professional team was going to take care of Abigail, Mimolette and Ashes and they were taken care of beautifully. Biscuit I was a nervous wreck, but I was thrilled and relieved to learn he would be with Ron, Carlos, and their staff the entire time--he would never left alone or [god forbid!] caged. I loved that Ron spent time with me before I left, going over my specifics for Biscuit's overnight care. And he didn't make me feel stupid when I called mid-week to check in because I missed him so much!
Ron, Carlos, Andrea, and all the Coco & Toto staff are so friendly and welcoming and I always feel that they truly care about the dogs and their welfare. And I love that their store feels like a cozy local establishment.
